Sensory Conversion in the Ganzfeld Experience: Lights, Sounds and Perceptual Alterations (Data)

Dataset The dataset comprises the psychometric assessments of 61 participants who have been anonymized to study a specific light and sound design, i.e., the Ganzfeld experiment, as a therapeutic tool for 30 minutes. Two Ganzfeld groups were compared with the control groups where students participated in university lectures. Sources for Reference The self-reports pertain to State Scale of Dissociation x 2, Zimbardo's Time Perspectives Inventory - short, and the Trauma Symptoms Checklist - 40. This study was approved by the ethics review boards of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and the University of New York in Prague in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
