Alzheimer’s Specialised Team Headquarters (ESA) — Calvados Department

Census of specialised Alzheimer teams, including their headquarters, in the Department of Calvados. Measure 6 of the 2008-2012 Alzheimer Plan is the origin of FBOs (A Alzheimer’s Specialised Teams), formed within the Home Nursing Services (SIADs). These structures accompany people with mild or moderate Alzheimer’s disease, living at home, and helping their loved ones. The aim of the interventions is to allow them to stay at home for the longest time. These procedures are carried out on medical prescription. They take place during 12 to 15 sessions over 3 months. FBOs are made up of professionals trained to accompany people with Alzheimer’s disease. **Collection context** The Calvados Department identifies and monitors FBOs as part of its social work responsibilities.
