The water depth and temperature data was collected from ship Moana Wave. The data was collected from TOGA (Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere) Area in the Pacific (30 N to 30 S) from August 31 to September 12, 1988. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was submitted in a cassette by Dr. Roger Lukas of Department of Oceanography, University of Hawaii. The data has been coverted and is now available on line in C116 file format of NODC.
