Mathematics Anxiety in Traditional and Digital Contexts: Psychometric Dataset of Colombian Secondary Students
收藏资源简介:
Dataset Description This dataset supports the research entitled Adapting and Extending a Mathematics Anxiety Scale to Traditional and Digital Contexts: Psychometric Structure and Measurement Invariance in Colombian Secondary Students. The study involved 836 secondary school students from public educational institutions in Colombia, divided into two independent subsamples: BaseAFE.xlsx (n = 422): Dataset used for exploratory factor analysis. BaseAFC.xlsx (n = 414): Dataset used for confirmatory factor analysis. Both datasets contain responses to a 31-item mathematics anxiety questionnaire, together with coded sociodemographic and contextual variables. Participant IDs and institution identifiers are research codes and do not correspond to official identification numbers or school names. The datasets support analyses of factorial structure, reliability, convergent and discriminant validity, bifactor modeling, and measurement invariance across educational levels and sex. Data Access and Reuse Conditions The datasets are maintained under restricted access to protect participant confidentiality, particularly because the research involved minors. Access may be granted to journal editors and authorized peer reviewers for the purpose of verifying the statistical procedures and findings reported in the associated manuscript. Requests from other researchers may also be considered for legitimate scientific purposes, subject to applicable ethical requirements, consent conditions, and prior written authorization from the data custodian. Unauthorized reuse, redistribution, publication, transfer to third parties, or use for purposes beyond those expressly approved is not permitted. Access requests will be evaluated individually and approval is not guaranteed.
