Wedding Cocktail Hour Contact Webs: Temporal Proximity Network of a Privately Hosted Social Event

This record contains a public de-identified temporal proximity network dataset collected during the outdoor cocktail hour of a privately hosted wedding. Ninety-five consenting adult participants wore Ultra-Wideband proximity sensor badges that detected other participating badge-wearers within approximately 1.5 m. The released dataset represents contacts as an undirected discrete-time temporal network in 10-second bins and includes de-identified relationship-based group labels reported by participants. The dataset contains 7,213 temporal contact events over 2,760 observed dyads during a 58-minute observation window. It is intended to support research on face-to-face interaction, temporal networks, organic social mixing, contagion risk estimation, contact tracing policy, social-space design, and social inclusion. Contacts with non-badge-wearing guests are not observed, and proximity should not be interpreted as confirmed conversation.
