RNA-seq analysis of transcriptional changes induced by CTG trinucleotide repeats in yeast

This study analyzes the effect of an expanded CTG trinucleotide tract on gene expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae using RNA sequencing. Yeast strains carrying CTG repeats at the SUP4 locus were compared to isogenic control strains without these repeats. RNA-seq data were generated and analyzed to identify differentially expressed genes associated with the presence of CTG repeats. These data provide insight into the transcriptional impact of repetitive DNA sequences.
