Density-fractionated sediment organic matter characteristics from four mid-latitude Scottish fjords

This datasets describes the organic matter characteristics of density-fractionated surface sediments from four mid-latitude Scottish fjords. The collection consists of a single Excel workbook (.xlsx) containing sediment geochemical data from four density fractions (<1.6, 1.6-2.0, 2.0-2.5, and >2.5 g cm⁻³).
