<b>Optimization of Haptic Feedback in Smart Prosthetic Hands Using Vibrotactile Systems</b>

<b>Experiment Description</b>In a series of experiments, subjects are asked to wear a belt with 5 vibration motors attached on the front side of it. After familiarization, vibration motors are turned on based on a vibration pattern at 3 intensities. The subjects select the point with an angle and magnitude on screen to represent how they perceive the information encoded in the vibrations. <b>Data description</b>In <b><i>user_info.csv</i></b><i>, subjects' physical characteristics and their corresponding experiment_id are presented. The recorded physical </i><i>characteristics are age, weight, height, and waist measures.</i><i>Data is cleaned and those vibration patterns which were not perceived by the user has been removed. In </i><b><i>user_data.csv</i></b><i>, each entry has followings:</i><b>Experiment_id</b>: <i> An identifier to connect each experiment to a specific subject. </i><b><i>Confidence percentage</i></b><i>: </i><i> the confidence percentage he/she had about being certain when selecting the point.</i><b><i>Vib_1, Vib_2, </i></b><b><i>Vib_3, </i></b><b><i>Vib_4, </i></b><b><i>Vib_5</i></b><i>: </i><i>the vibration pattern with maximum value of 255.</i><b>magnitude</b>: <i>subject selected point magnitude between 0 and 1</i><b>phase</b>: <i>subject selected point phase in radian</i><br><br>
