资源简介：
A dataset shared as example 2 of Guide on multilateral methods in the Harmonised Index on Consumer Prices – 2022 edition. The dataset supports the calculation of price indices for seasonal items using multilateral index formulas.
An artifical data set with 201 price observations for 36 periods and 12 products:
3 strongly seasonal products (seasons of availability do not vary over years of comparison)
3 strongly seasonal products (seasons of availability slightly vary over years of comparison)
3 random strongly seasonal products (no pronounced seasons of availability over years of comparison)
3 weakly seasonal products (available throughout all months of comparison years)
For each price observation, the following variables are available: the time period, the product code, the turnover, the quantity, and the price.
Dataset also documented on the Price Statistics Open Data Catalog.
