Technician log for ICECAPS-ACE fluxtower instrumentation, at Summit Station, Greenland
收藏资源简介:
This instrument log is associated with the ICECAPS instrumenation on the 15 m tower at Summit Station, Greenland. This log was completed on a daily basis by the onsite science technician. Although best efforts were made to keep the log entries consistent, there are some changes in how things were recorded over time, and between different techinicians (the technician changed roughly every ~4 months). This log contains three tabs: "Master", "Data Logging", and "Icing" Every day, the on-site technician would complete the "Data logging" and "Icing" tab noting any issues with data logging or icing for each instrument. The "master" log is not filled out on a daily basis but intented to capture details of larger unusual events that impact the data, such as raising equipment on the tower, or the operation of machinary around the instruments. Efforts have be made to propagate episodes of compromised data quality into the quality control flags in the respective datasets. The purpose of publishing this original field log is to provide additional information should questions about the published data products remain. The efforts of technicians at Summit Station and science support provided by Polar Field Services were crucial to maintaining the quality and continuity of this dataset at Summit. We acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of all the science technicians who have contributed to this log.
