IOOS Glider - MARACOOS - electa-20260807T1633

This project supports the deployment and real-time data delivery of autonomous underwater gliders in the coastal ocean in support of the MARACOOS project and is being deployed to monitor the Mid-Atlantic Bight Cold Pool. The mission will cover the southern Mid-Atlantic Bight between southern NJ and Virginia sampling between the 30m isobath and the shelfbreak in a zigzag pattern. This deployment has significant salinity spiking due to thermal lag.
