Experiment Results

This item contains all the results collected from our empirical experiment. Note that all of them were calculated using the file <strong>"Results.json"</strong>. The files <strong>"output_GroupA1.txt"</strong>, <strong>"output_GroupA2.txt"</strong> and <strong>"output_GroupB.txt"</strong> contain the average values of each code quality metric, time and number of refactorings. The file <strong>"Metrics Hypothesis Tests.xlsx"</strong> contains the values used to performed the hypothesis tests. The results of the hypothesis tests can be found in the files <strong>"Hypothesis Tests - Task 2.txt"</strong>, <strong>"Hypothesis Tests - Task 3 File A.txt"</strong> and <strong>"Hypothesis Tests - Task 3 File B.txt"</strong>. These tests were performed using the <strong>Two Sample TTest</strong> through the python package <strong>"pingouin"</strong>. Finally, the file <strong>"Results.xlsx"</strong> contains the answers to questions related to the participants' characterization, experience evaluation and usability.
