We totally enrolled 23 GC patients confirmed by endoscopy combined with pathologic biopsy and 11 healthy controls from the Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School in this study. 23 tumor tissues, 23 para-tumor tissues and 11 normal tissues were selected for microbiota analysis based on the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy guideline
