GNA talks about the dyeing activity (with the leaves of Philenoptera cyanescens). She explains that she is the last of her family to practice the activity, on a small scale. She talks about the disappearance of this activity in the region. She gives technical details on how to dye the yarns (preliminary soaking operation) and talks about the social and economic organisation of the work. She also shows two of her loincloths to help us understand the colours that can be obtained by dyeing and how to combine yarns of different colours.
