public transport quality class

The public transport quality classes are an instrument for describing the quality of public transport access. The public transport quality class of a location results from the distance to an public transport stop and the offer (distance of cycles) at that stop. The calculation is based on the (now no longer valid) VSS standard SN 640 290. The methodology of the standard has been extended to take into account the specific circumstances in the Canton of Solothurn. In the calculation, topography and obstacles are taken into account.
