MHS Level 1B - Metop - Global

The Microwave Humidity Sounder (MHS) is a 5 channel instrument used to provide input to the retrieval of surface temperatures, emissivities, and atmospheric humidity. In combination with AMSU-A information it can also be used to process precipitation rates and related cloud properties, as well as to detect sea ice and snow coverage. Metop-A data are available in the Data Centre up to 15/11/2021.
