This study investigates the role of Ywhaz in early embryo development using a CRISPR-Cas9 knockout mouse model. RNA-seq was performed on pooled blastocysts derived from control and Ywhaz-knockout zygotes. Differential gene expression and pathway enrichment analysis revealed dysregulation of redox and cell proliferation pathways, providing insights into the molecular function of YWHAZ during preimplantation development. Overall design: Total of 4 RNA-seq samples: 2 control (Control_1, Control_2) and 2 Ywhaz-knockout (si_Ywhaz_1, si_Ywhaz_2). Each sample consists of a pool of 5 blastocysts. Zygotes were injected with CRISPR-Cas9 targeting Ywhaz or control gRNA, cultured to the blastocyst stage, and pooled for RNA extraction and sequencing.
