Profits made by CAC40 companies in the first half of the year in France 2015-2022

In the first half of 2022, CAC40 companies had accumulated nearly 73 billion euros in net profit, thus following the same historical profit dynamic as the previous year. This is indeed 23 percent more than in the first half of 2021, and 53 percent more than in the first half of 2019. The CAC40 is the main index of the Paris Stock Exchange. It is composed of 40 stocks among the 100 largest French capitalizations on Euronext.
