Genotype by Sequencind data from 189 mastiff bats (Chiroptera: Molossidae: Molossus, Promops, and Eumops)

Genotype by Sequencing raw data for 189 samples of Molossus, Promops, and Eumops (Molossidae, Chiropetera). Genomic DNA was isolated using a Qiagen DNeasy extraction kit (Qiagen, Inc. Valencia, CA, USA) following the manufacturer’s instructions. All libraries were sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 2000. following the protocol described by Elshire et al. (2011). Raw sequence files from Illumina were converted into individual genotypes using the Discovery (reference genome assembly) and the Universal Network-Enabled Analysis Kit (UNEAK) (de novo assembly) pipelines, available as part of the TASSEL 3.0 software (Bradbury et al. 2007).
