The Amazonian cinnamon (Ocotea quixos) is a tree of the lauraceae family, native of the Ecuadorian amazonic forest with hight importance for pharmacological information and ethnobotanical history, however, database dont have information about its genome for correct philogenic organization. For that reason is necesary the present work . We worked with the sequencing of Ocotea quixos by WGS from which the chloroplast genome was obtained, our goal is present first complete chloroplast genome of the Ocotea genus sequenced in the world.
