Plant virus hybridisation-capture probe panel tfv1

Fasta file containing probe sequences targeting ssRNA and ssDNA plant and seed-transmitted viruses. DNA-based probes were designed against publicly available NCBI reference sequences, with design parameters of 80bp long and 220 bp spacing at 1X tiling, however this was variable dependending on sequence similarity between target genera. Target viruses include, Pepper mottle virus, Pea Seed-borne mosaic virus, Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus, Sweet potato feathery mottle virus, Cucumber fruit mottle mosaic virus, Zucchini green mottle mosaic virus, Pepino mosaic virus, Prunus Necrotic ringspot virus, Strawberry latent ringspot virus, Tomato mottle mosaic virus, Tomato brown rugose fruit virus, Citrus tristeza virus, Pepper mild mottle virus, Tomato yellow leaf curl virus, Cotton leaf curl virus, Sweet potato leaf curl virus. Probes targeting Citrus tristeza virus and Pepper Mild Mottle virus were randomized to introduce diversity and reduce similarity between the probe and reference sequence for research purposes.
