They are subject to common rules which are homogeneous and comparable to those of local authorities. The information presented here relates to private taxation EPCI: Urban Community (CU); Community of Agglomeration (CA); Community of Communes (CC); Union d’Agglomération Nouvelle (SAN); Metropolis (ME). There are also EPCIs without own taxation: single Vocation Intercommunal Unions (SIVU), Multiple Vocation Intercommunal Unions (SIVOM), Closed Mixed Trade Unions (SM Closed) and Open Mixed Unions (Open Joint Unions).
