Survey Data on Financial Literacy and Asset Participation among Young Adults in Indonesia

This dataset contains survey responses from young adults in Indonesia to examine the relationship between financial literacy and asset participation. It includes measures of basic, advanced, and self-assessed financial literacy; stock market participation (stocks and mutual funds); and non-market asset ownership (savings, deposits, gold, and real estate). It also includes demographic variables (gender, academic year, income), behavioural variables (savings behaviour), educational variables (economics education and perceptions of economics in daily life), and family background variables (parental financial knowledge). The dataset offers micro-level evidence on financial knowledge and investment behaviour in an emerging market context.
