The 1825 volume includes: abstracts of colonial expenses authorised by the Governor's warrant; sums paid to witnesses at the Criminal Courts and Quarter Sessions; sums paid to constables for the apprehension of Bushrangers; Pensions; salaries, fees and travelling expenses of Coroners; and sundries for Windsor Church and St Phillips, Sydney. Also included are salaries paid to officers of the Colonial Establishment, Colonial Secretary's Department, Chief Engineer's Department, Police Establishment, Naval Department, and Miscellaneous (Sheriff, Superintendent of Carters Barracks, Crier etc.); and abstracts of expenditure including salaries of the Departments of the Colonial Secretary, Colonial Treasurer, Surveyor General, Medical, Master Attendant, Judicial Establishment, Sheriff, Police, Ecclesiastical Establishment, Public School and Charitable Institutions, Engineer, and Convict Establishment. The 1829 volume shows: abstracts of disbursements on behalf of the fixed and supplementary Establishments; for fixed and unfixed contingencies; repayment of loans to the Treasury from other departments; advances made on account of the Public Service; the Colonial Agent in London, the Trustees of the Church and School Lands, and the Collector of Customs; and expenses of the Veteran Companies. The 1839 volume includes: abstracts of fixed and supplementary salaries (by department and place); fixed and unfixed contingencies; gaols, watchhouses and lockups; rations and forage for the Mounted Police; wages of emigrant mechanics, labourers, foremen of works and overseers in the Colonial Architect's Department; expenses of individual immigrant ships and bounties; and Quarantine expenses.1825 (2/813), 1829 (2/821), 1839 (2/836). 3 vols.
