Beneficiaries of departmental social assistance for the elderly or disabled (APA, PCH, ASH, Home Aids,...)

National and departmental historical series on the number of recipients of departmental social assistance for the elderly or disabled since 1996 are available here. These data are taken from the [Social Assistance Survey](https://drees.solidarites-sante.gouv.fr/sources-outils-et-enquetes/lenquete-aide-sociale-aupres-des-conseils-departementaux), an annual survey of the communities responsible for departmental social assistance, which collects aggregated data on beneficiaries and expenditure of social assistance benefits. All these data, as reported by the departmental councils during the various collections, are made available in the dataset “Basis of raw data from the Social Assistance Survey – Strand Social Assistance for the Elderly or Disabled”(https://data.drees.solidarites-sante.gouv.fr/explore/dataset/bases-de-donnees-brutes-de-l-enquete-aide-sociale-volet-aides-sociales-aux-perso/information/)”.
