Strategic noise map – 2016 – major and ancillary railways – Lnight – contours

Strategic noise map for rail traffic with more than 30 000 train passages per year according to RL 2002/49/EC, together with impact on additional railways. The reference year of these dates shall be 2016. The noise map shall indicate the noise exposure of the environment. The noise shall be expressed in the parameter Lnight. The Lnight level is the average of night noise levels (23-07h) and is one of the noise indicators representative of possible night sleep disturbance. These noise maps shall be updated every 5 years.
