Profilin 1 deficiency drives copy number alterations in MC3T3 cells. Copy number analysis of Profilin 1-deficient MC3T3 cells

Profilin 1 –encoded by PFN1– is a small actin-binding protein with a tumour suppressive role in various adenocarcinomas and pagetic osteosarcomasd. Fix and live cell imaging showed that Profilin 1 inactivation results in multiple mitotic defects. Low-pass whole-genome sequencing analysis on eight Pfn1-KO MC3T3 cells highlighted frequent copy number alterations involving multiple chromosomes.
