Paternity analysis of pine rejuvenation in Gesäuse National Park

The marginal presence of the pine in the groom could be affected by missing gene flow, genetic drift and inbreeding. This kinship and paternity investigation on four permanent test areas in the National Park shows that the partial populations develop only at greater spatial distance and geographical barriers. The rejuvenation mostly happens locally, with the role of the fir crochet as a broadener of the seeds to be studied more closely.
