Noise zones industrial sites

Zone around the industrial site laid down in the zoning plan or zone decision, beyond which the daily noise value of the industrial site shall not exceed 50 dB(A). (The plan is made by the municipality. Zone decisions have been adopted in the past by the Minister of VROM. The zone manager checks whether companies fit within the noise zone.) With the amendment of the Noise Obstacle Act as of 1-1-2007, the information requirement for the noise zone is to lie with the municipality. The municipality is a formal contact point for zone management.
