we discovered that EXOSC4 gene, an RNA exosome component, was amplified and its expression was upregulated in pancreatic cancer tissue. EXOSC4 proteins localized in both cytoplasm and nuclear of pancreatic cancer tissues as well as cells. Moreover, we demonstrate that EXOSC4 is required for survival by interfering with apoptotic cell death of pancreatic cancer cells.
