Sensory and intracortical stimulations with simultaneous sEEG and hd-EEG recordings and subjective reports (v1)

The dataset comprises simultaneous high-density electroencephalography (hd-EEG) and stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG) recordings during electrical stimulation of the median nerve and during intracranial electrical stimulation (contained in the folder mednoreport). Intracranial stimulations were performed in channels showing tonic responses to the median nerve stimulation as described in [Avanzini, et al 2016](https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.1601889113). In addition, the dataset also includes sEEG recordings during median nerve stimulation with subjective reports of perception (contained in the folder medreport). All data is structured following the BIDS proposal for electrophysiological derivatives (BEP021). This dataset provides users with the unique opportunity to not only assess the responses to somatosensory stimulation simultaneously from an invasive and non-invasive perspective, but also to study the effects of electrically stimulating the areas that are responsive during somatosensation, and to correlate the intracranial responses with the participants’ subjective reports.
