Satellite-derived evaluation of thermal and non-thermal controls on seawater CO2 fugacity along the Nordic Seas during spring - Data availability
收藏资源简介:
We present the dataset (in .csv) of sea surface temperature (SST, in °C), sea surface salinity (SSS), chlorophyll-a (Chl-a, in mg m³) and sea surface CO2 fugacity (fCO2, in µatm) used for the development of the fCO2 model. Recalculated measurements of fCO2 were extracted from cruises with quality control flags A and B in the Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas version 2025 (SOCAT v2025, https://doi.org/10.25921/648f-fv35). SST and SSS data were extracted from the L4 product Multi Observation Global Ocean ARMOR3D (https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00052) matching the in situ fCO2 measurements in a spatial resolution of 0.25°. Satellite-derived Chl-a data was extracted from daily images from the ESA Ocean Color Climate Change Initiative 6.0 database (https://www.oceancolour.org/) matching the in situ fCO2 measurements in a spatial resolution of 1 km. We also present the recalculated spatial fields (in .nc) of SST (in °C), SSS, Chl-a (in mg m³) and fCO2 (in µatm) in March, April and May between 2010 and 2025, with a spatial resolution of 0.125°.
