资源简介:
In this paper we present a line-of-sight (LOS) control architecture and testing results used for the ver- ification of the pointing requirement of the coronagraph instrument (CGI) onboard The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope (Roman Space Telescope or RST for short). The main focus of the paper is on providing a higher-level overview of the different components of the control architecture and the testing effort. The goal of the LOS control is to stabilize the line of sight (LOS) for a high contrast coronagraph instrument used for imaging of exoplanets. Paper describes the modeling effort and disturbance environment, as well as the operational, design and hardware choices made in order to meet the tight pointing requirements. Finally, the paper focuses on the testing results during the thermal and vacuum testing and the corresponding verification approach.
