The purpose of this study was to assess gene expression changes in airway OTE tissues following chlorine exposure (CE). OTEs were exposed to medical air (MA) or 20 ppm chlorine gas (Cl2) for 30 min. At 0, 6, 12 or 24 hours post-exposure, OTEs were collected and snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen for gene expression studies.
