Arabian Sea Sediments amplicon sequencing

Cruise surveys were conducted to collect sediments beneath the central Arabian Sea OMZs (35 stations) onboard the R/V Xiangyanghong 01 from February to April 2022. We then performed 16S rDNA amplicon sequence and analysis with two main aims to 1) elucidate the microbial diversity and function prediction linked to extent of mesopelagic hypoxia and 2) explore the process of microbial community assembly based on null model.
