Streams (WRRL) Lower Saxony

The smallest demarcated hydrological level of the EC Water Framework Directive (WFD) is the water body (WK). In Lower Saxony, about 1700 water bodies are defined. A water body can consist of several water segments. In addition to the Lower Saxony waters, the Bremen and the otherwise touched waters and bodies of water are also pictured. The water body characterisation and evaluation is integrated with the results of the evaluation of the overall ecological status/potential and the chemical overall state for the creation of theme maps as attribution.
