资源简介:
Dengue fever is a devastating viral disease caused by the Dengue virus, but there is no effective vaccine or
therapeutic available. The third domain of the Dengue envelope protein, EDIII, is mainly responsible for
interaction with host cells. Our lab has identified glycosaminoglycans, namely chondroitin sulfate (CSC), as
key player in this interaction. To increase our understanding of which dynamics play what role in the
interaction between EDIII and CSC-relevant saccharides, we wish to determine the change in MSD
between the different EDIII-saccharide samples and to calculate the change in conformational entropy upon
saccharide binding.
