Pajok Dance: A Communication Approach to Understand the Bangru Tribe

The data is a compilation of various traditional dances that use gestures and dance movement to help understand communication perspectives. The difference between classical and traditional dances can be found, as can the set of classifications of dances that exist in the tribal community. For an understanding of dance as a communication medium, it contains information on international traditional dances, Indian classical dances, and Nyishi dances. A few theoretical stances can be taken in order to reframe the results and understand the concepts of knowledge that are present in the tribal domain. Consequently, the purpose of the data collection was to support and enhance the outcomes that have been covered in the paper. The dateset has been classified as dance as a mode of communication, gender in the dance performance, and dance as a cultural expression of the tribe. This dataset discusses these factors, which improve our understanding of the Bangru Pajok dance, along with the historical knowledge of the Bangru tribe. This dataset aims to provide insight into the realm of dance as a means of human communication and the body of knowledge embodied in dance movements.
