Tide-corrected Landsat record of bank change at five coastal embankment sites in Bangladesh, 1988 to 2025: transects, shoreline positions, rates and retreat zones

Dataset for the article "Tide-corrected Landsat record of bank change at five coastal embankment sites in Bangladesh, 1988 to 2025" (submitted to CATENA). It holds the transect geometry (3,045 transects at 50 m spacing at Assashuni, Banshkhali, Kalapara, Mongla and Taltali), the bank position on every transect in each of the 1,080 dry-season Landsat Collection 2 scenes used (1,677 reach and scene uses), the hindcast tide at every overpass and the coefficients of the harmonic tide models, the Linear Regression Rates with ordinary and combined intervals, coverage and planform factors of the 3,028 rated transects, the retreat zones with their member transects and season-by-season trajectories, the wave scenarios of the hydraulic screen, the Landsat and Sentinel-2 pairs of the inter-sensor check, and the laboratory properties of the soil samples. README.txt describes every file and column and how the article's tables can be recomputed. The water level and rainfall records of the Bangladesh Water Development Board are not redistributed.
