Whole metagenomics and metatranscriptomics from stool of DSS-induced colitis mice

This study investigates the effects of strawberries on DSS-induced colitis in the specific-pathogen-free mice and the role of gut microbiome herein. Data from two time points were collected: day 6 (one day prior to DSS-induced colitis) and day 18 (the final day of the experiment), with and without a continuous strawberry intervention throughout the experiment period. Whole metagenomic and metatranscriptomic data were collected to explore the functional change of gut microbiota upon strawberry intervention.
