Nanopore sequencing of the Deschampsia antarctica genome for mitochondrial genome assembly

Deschampsia antarctica is one of two flowering plants native to Antarctica. While numerous studies have been conducted on its unique physiological features of D. antarctica, no research exists on the genomic resources for this species. We generated its genome sequencing data using Nanopore long read sequencing technology to assembly mitochondrial genome.
