Total domestic city gas demand Japan FY 2013-2022

In the fiscal year 2022, the total domestic demand for city gas in Japan amounted to approximately 1.7 thousand petajoules. The city gas demand included the demand for general gas, which can be supplied to individual households, as well as simple gas, also called community gas, which can only be supplied to a cohesive area of at least 70 households.
