资源简介:
The European program of supplementary surveys in the AKU for 2007-09 includes a module on young people's path into the labor market. A working group consisting of experts from Great Britain, Sweden, Austria, Hungary, Italy, France and Spain has worked out which questions should be asked. The EU and the EEA countries have a stated goal of reducing unemployment among young people. The supplementary survey helps to map young people aged 15-34's path from education to the labor market and will thus be able to provide a description of the labor market situation for young people in addition to highlighting possible areas for improvement.
The Labour Force Surveys (AKU) are designed to obtain national overviews. The weighting variable is used to inflate the sample to national numbers that are representative on (as of 1996) the level of county. Pay attention: In earlier surveys, the weights have been constructed on a quarterly basis. As of 1988, the interviews are conducted every week and the weights are constructed monthly. The quarterly weights are therefore constructed by taking the monthly weight and divide it by three. Normally, an AKU sample is self-weighting in terms of representativity. When a given year's four AKU samples are merged into a “year sample”, the quarter weight has to be divided by 4 to obtain a yearly weight. The weight "tuvekt" should be divided by 4,000 in this supplementary survey to the Labor Force Survey.
