VPRS 14675 Toll Records

This series contains records relating to the charging of tolls along the Great Ocean Road to assist in the construction and maintenance of the road. Unit 1 is a set of comparisons done in 1930 / 1931 of the numbers passing through the different toll-gates and the amounts paid in tolls. Unit 2 is a summary of the returns at the toll-gates between 1936 and 1939. Details given are the return number, the date of the return and the number of persons passing through the toll under the price of the relevant ticket.
