This series consists of minutes and agenda papers for the meetings of the Academic Appeals Sub-Committee (later the Academic Appeals Committee) of Charles Sturt University (CSU).The minutes and agendas (which also included any attachments for the meetings) are all typed and arranged in chronological order. For each meeting the minutes are first, followed by the agenda and the attachments.The minutes document the decisions and resolutions made by the Committee. The following information is contained in the minutes: the date, place and time of the meeting; those people present at the meeting; apologies from people not able to attend; information and resolutions referred to the Committee for approval from other Committees and the Academic Senate; resolutions passed by the Committee itself; any correspondence tabled at the meeting; any general business arising; and the date, place and time of the next meeting.The agendas outlined the format that the meetings would follow and those specific matters that were to be addressed. Both the agendas and the attachments were circulated prior to the actual meetings.It should be noted that Consignment no. 1 of this series is comprised only of agendas but these do include the minutes of the previous meetings. For example, the agenda for a meeting will include the minutes of the previous meeting. Therefore to locate the minutes of a certain meeting one needs to look at the agenda for the following meeting.
