Ontology of Adverse Events

The Ontology of Adverse Eventsy (OAE) is a biomedical ontology in the domain of adverse events. OAE aims to standardize adverse event annotation, integrate various adverse event data, and support computer-assisted reasoning. OAE is a community-based ontology. Its development follows the OBO Foundry principles. Vaccine adverse events have been used as an initial testing use case. OAE also studies adverse events associated with the administration of drug and nutritional products, the operation of surgeries, and the usage of medical devices, etc.《不良事件本体》（OAE）系一涵盖不良事件领域的生物医学本体。OAE旨在标准化不良事件标注，整合各类不良事件数据，并支持计算机辅助推理。OAE为一基于社区的本体，其开发遵循OBO Foundry原则。疫苗不良事件已被用作初始测试用例。此外，OAE亦研究药物、营养产品使用、手术操作及医疗设备使用等过程中伴随的不良事件。
