VPRS 4057 Fauna Press Cuttings (Fisheries and Wildlife Division)

This series consists of a single volume of newspaper clippings pertaining to fauna maintained by the Fisheries and Wildlife Division of the Chief Secretary's Department.Clippings appear to have been identified by a newspaper clipping service from newspapers published within Victoria. Individual clippings relate to all manner of animal related issues in Victoria, Australia or, on some occasions, overseas. The publication and date of publication of each clipping is identified. The volume also includes copies of letters sent to a newspaper in response to published articles about Government policy.Clippings collected after 1961 in this area can be located in VPRS 4060 Wildlife Press Clippings. Some clippings can also be located within VPRS 4058 General Clippings between 1948 and 1971.
