Effects of enzyme additives on the bacterial community of Medicago sativa silage as determined by Illumina sequencing

This study was conducted to broader to broaden our vision of alfalfa silage microbial community, which is to in-depth character how enzyme and their combination with inoculants affect silage bacterial population. Here, we used next generation sequencing on technique-Illumina MiSeq platform, to characterize the bacterial community of alfalfa silage inoculated without and with CEGA (Cellulase plus ?-galactosidase), CELP (Cellulase plus L. Plantarum), and GALP (?-galactosidase plus L. plantarum).
