In this experiment, we will investigate operando the local structure of Ir-based nanocatalysts during oxygen evolution reaction using high energy X-ray total scattering. The samples (IrOx, IrCu, Ir, Ir/Ta-doped tin oxide) will be mounted in a X-ray transparent electrolysis cell developed by the ID31 beamline. Especially, we will focus also on the structural changes triggered by low potential excursion of the anode, which are expected at the startup-shutdown of the device.
