SeaVoX Vocabulary Server (NVS) is a service providing standardized controlled vocabularies for marine and related Earth science domains, which are utilized for data annotation, indexing and searching. The service adopts the W3C SKOS standard for knowledge representation, where each vocabulary is a SKOS collection encompassing multiple SKOS concepts. NVS supports a variety of query methods and data access interfaces including SPARQL, SOAP and RESTful API, and provides data serialization in RDF format.
